Our specially-trained staff provides free information about transportation options for adults ages 50 years and older. Public, private and volunteer transportation services are matched with the needs of individual callers, whenever possible.
This JCA program is well versed on eligibility issues so you can take advantage of the best alternatives for your needs.

Low-Cost, Door-to-Door ElderBuses
You can rent a mid-size passenger bus for social events, religious services, and specialty trips across the Washington D.C. metro area. In addition, many of these ElderBuses run regular routes, taking seniors to our Misler Adult Day Care Center in Rockville, MD and other nearby destinations.
Our ElderBuses are well-maintained, equipped with safety devices and are wheelchair accessible. They are climate-controlled and are driven by professional drivers who are comfortable in meeting the needs of older adults and persons with disabilities. All drivers hold a Commercial Driver’s License.
